This course is a two-day review following the outlines for the CFRN®, CTRN®, FP-C® and CCP-C® exams and is designed to prepare the student to take their exam. The course will provide participants with a thorough review of topics including Transport Physiology, Single and Multiple-System Emergencies (cardiopulmonary, GI/GU and OB, Maxillofacial and Orthopedic, Neurological, Shock, Trauma, Substance Abuse, and Transport Considerations), Safety Issues including Disaster Management and Survival.

This course is a two-day review following the outlines for the CFRN®, CTRN®, FP-C® and CCP-C® exams and is designed to prepare the student to take their exam. The course will provide participants with a thorough review of topics including Transport Physiology, Single and Multiple-System Emergencies (cardiopulmonary, GI/GU and OB, Maxillofacial and Orthopedic, Neurological, Shock, Trauma, Substance Abuse, and Transport Considerations), Safety Issues including Disaster Management and Survival, and Patient Management. You will receive a study manual at the course included in your registration.
This course has been developed by the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, the International Association of Flight Paramedics and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Emergency Medicine Education Program. The instructors are nurses and paramedics with transport experience and current certification in at least one of the specialty areas targeted by the exam.
