You’ve got the drive. Now, get ready to achieve.
Whether you’re going by land or by air, you’re racing toward success in transport nursing.
That’s why BCEN® is donating $35,000 to fund academic scholarships for members of the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA) who hold a CFRN® or CTRN® certification from BCEN®.
Whether you’re pursuing your bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate, we’re here to support you and help you reach your goals. EMTs or paramedics who are ASTNA members pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree are also eligible.
Applicants must be currently involved in the industry and/or nursing specialty.
Apply for one of the below scholarships no later than November 28th:
• Six $2,500 scholarships to CFRN or CTRN nurses who are ASTNA members
pursuing a BSN degree
• Four $2,500 scholarships to CFRN or CTRN nurses who are ASTNA members
pursuing MSN degrees
• One $5,000 scholarship to a CFRN or CTRN nurse who is an ASTNA member
pursuing a doctorate (DNP, PhD)
• Two $2,500 scholarships to EMTs or paramedics who are ASTNA members pursuing
a Registered Nurse degree
Scholarships are awarded for a calendar year (January to December 2019) for tuition, fees and books. To be eligible to apply, you must have a current active membership in ASTNA at the time of application and sustained throughout the term of scholarship funding, and you must currently hold either a CFRN or CTRN certification (except for the EMT/Paramedic to BSN).
We encourage all who are eligible to apply. We believe we have the highest caliber of transport nurses in the industry, and we are thrilled to help you take your career to the next level.
