I would like to take a moment and introduce myself! My name is Josh Wall and I'm the new President of ASTNA. I currently reside in Salt Lake City, UT where I work as a full-time flight nurse for AirMed at the University of Utah. I'm also an adjunct instructor at the college of nursing at the University of Utah. I am so excited to be coming into the role as President! Having spent the last several years on the board of directors, I have seen first-hand how this amazing organization and its many members have grown and worked so diligently to be leaders in our industry. We have been fortunate to expand our educational offerings, including our newest publication, Human Patient Simulation for Transport Environments, the Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course to an online format and a shortened two day in-person format, and the new Pediatric Advanced Transport Course that is available now in-person and online in the near future. Without the knowledge, expertise, commitment, and dedication of our members and volunteers, none of this great work would be possible. I am honored to work so closely with many of you to provide this organization and members the tools and resources necessary to be successful in their work. As I start this two year presidency, I look forward to keeping up this great momentum and working closely with many of you to make our organization even better than it is! Please feel free to reach out to myself or any other members of our board if you have questions, comments, concerns, or want to get involved. Stay safe!
