Earn that Swagger: Employing Best (Evidence-based) Practices in Difficult and Failed Airway Management
This half-day intensive program in difficult and failed airway management was designed by senior faculty of The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™ for advanced providers at CCTMC. The program starts with a brief research & best practices update and then addresses complex airway cases. Most of the class is dedicated to advanced airway skills labs and simulation, where attendees will engage with the pediatric airway, airway management of the obese patient, the surgical airway, the SALAD technique, delayed sequence intubation and ventilator set-up and trouble-shooting concepts. This course, which is hosted by the ASTNA, is ideal for critical care providers who want to ensure they are employing best (evidence-based) practices. This event is a Pre-conference workshop held prior to the Critical Care Transport Medicine Conference. Register today as space is limited!
