ASTNA and ASTNA Foundation Legacy Project

Sometimes a story needs to be told . . . Our story, the history of critical care transport nursing, is more than dates on a timeline. It’s an intricate mosaic consisting of providers, programs, and industry partners working together for more than four decades to advance the tools, education, and conveyances used to serve patients in their time of greatest need.

ASTNA and the ASTNA Foundation are pleased to announce our inaugural project, a book dedicated to honoring the legacy of critical care transport nursing. The Foundation’s mission is to advance research and education in transport nursing and the transport industry through scholarships, charitable aid and grants. Your donation to the ASTNA Foundation will help fund research, development, and production of a coffee table–style book that will showcase photos and stories of how our profession has evolved, impacted patient lives, and succeeded in “making it work” in sometimes the toughest of environments.
